A life changing event

During my time as a newborn photographer in Harpenden, I see how life changes for my first time mums and dads! That’s why in my maternity sessions I like to capture what life was like before a new baby turned your life upsidedown! 

Waiting for Baby number two?

Likewise there are big changes when you’re about to become a mum of multiples! At the moment, 2 year old Thomas is excited about becoming a big brother, he knows his little sister is in mummy’s tummy, but that’s about it. Mum Hannah is 37 weeks, with a big old bump, so baby could make an appearance at any time and life will change, again. Forever!

As you were...

My maternity photos are all done in the comfort of your own home. I like to think that you’ll look back on these photos and say to yourself, oh yes, I loved that outfit - it was so comfortable. They  might remind you of the days you could make yourself a cup of tea and still drink it whilst it was hot!! The photos might even remind you of the house that your babies were born into before you moved out 'for more space'! All these things are important details that we will no doubt forget unless we have a photograph to remind us how it was!

When it was just you and me

Thomas loves to look out of the window to see who's passing by, or just look at the cars – as boys do! My photographs will tell him the story of what his life was like before his sister arrived; those little details, like standing on the windowsill shouting at the bin men or watching Peppa Pig with mummy, will help preserve these little memories that we would simply forget about.
