During the pandemic a new trend in family photography was born - the ‘doorstep photograph’ –  a socially distanced photoshoot from your front door!

A New Style of Family Photograph

As a professional newborn and family photographer living in Harpenden, I captured doorstep photos for my own family, friends and clients. I really liked the social history of it all, capturing where we lived and who we were with during the pandemic.

In the absence of a newborn photoshoot due to restrictions it was also a lovely time to capture families as they introduced their new baby to the world.

Friends and Family Reunited 

For any family bubbles that were formed it was a great way to capture the reunions, especially for grandparents who really missed out seeing their grandchildren.
